Another post about another hotel. Exciting.
I stayed at the Conrad Tokyo for a couple of nights last time I was in Tokyo. I wrote a review over on TripAdvisor so you should be able to check that out in a couple of days after it passes through their approval process.
The area the hotel is located in Shiodome, a completely new or redeveloped area. Just a couple of years ago there was basically nothing here. Now you have four modern hotels, a bunch of big office buildings, restaurants, shops, etc. I wouldn’t say there is anything particularly interesting to see here, but it is convenient if you have business nearby and the Tsukiji fish market is also quite close.
